Monograms are everywhere. They are quite popular. Then I thought, how elegant would it look in a nursery? But then my mind didn't stop wondering at that very thought, it was even better to have your own custom monogram for either a nursery, family room or given to you as a gift to hang as your own custom wall art.

I think I will be using this design to hang in my daughters nursery.

These can be used just for some cute personalized stationery sets for your kids. If you have a candy themed party, they can be used for the thank you notes. Infact, I think I might roll out invitations that will match these.

Well I have been doing a lot of stationery sets, it's mainly because there is a lot more things I can do when it comes to my creativity to come up with stationery items. Design a day Challenge - Day 6 of 30 - Something old

Yikes! I missed my day to post yesterday. I got so busy with other things and a few order that I didn't post my design. Forgive me? Okay great!

For today's (yesterdays) design I decided to bring back a design from the dead. This design was a design I had when I first opened shop and then my work evolved and I never re listed it again. However, I had a customer inquire about it because they saw it on Flickr (who would of guessed!) and she wanted to purchase it. So I was more than happy to complete the design for her, print and ship. Then it got me to take a step back and look at the design. Ehh, not bad. Infact, I actually like it. And even better, I can now offer it in the colors that your choose so it can match the nursery.

Design a day Challenge - Day 5 of 30 - Modern sophistication

Today's design is simpler than the passed few days have been. I took one of my most popular designs that I sell (mainly for kids) and did another version of that, but for adults. I can see this design lending itself more to the female demographic, which makes me think, maybe one of my challenges will be stationery for men? Ahh we will see.

What I really like about this design, is that the style of very sophisticated and can work for someone like me. If your wondering what that means, it mean that I'm very unsure of what style I would like and it's very hard for me to settle on something, indecisive you would say? But with this design, I feel that the font its very attractive and I can also customize it by leaving out the border if someone wishes.

Well I'm off to eat icecream and watch my favorite TV show.

Design a day Challenge - Day 4 of 30 - Cute Flags

 

Happy Thanksgiving! Well it was quite a success. The food that is. I stuffed a 5lb chicken and roasted a turkey breast as well. Made a few sides, such as mashed potatoes, salad, stuffing & gravy. My husband doesn't eat turkey so that's why I stuffed a chicken, and according to him, it was amazing! My daughter loved the turkey and ate 3 plates with mashed potatoes (3 small plates).

 

But I will tell you something, it was difficult to cook 2 birds. Next year, only 1 bird for this family! It was pretty tiring and I only cooked for 4 people, with plenty of left overs. Of course it was difficult because I'm over 8 months pregnant, but I will never underestimate what the cooks do in the kitchen during Thanksgiving.

So it was a bit difficult to get in my day 4 design, but as promised, here it is. Those cute flags that you see everywhere is what inspired me for this design. I first created a name print for girls or boys. Then it merged into taking the flag alone and making it into very cute stationery. You can choose the color you want and envelopes, to make it your own.

Well it's been a long day for me and I'm off to hang out with the better half!
Oh and what am I thankful for? My family :)

I go to the zoo often enough because of my 4 year old. And the giraffe and flamingo inspire me the most. Why? Well they are beautiful! That's why for day 3 of my 30 day journey, I decided to make it an animal theme.

You can find these designs live in my shop with options to fully customize the look of your invitations and stationery. I also thought, the blank notecards can be used just for personal stationery, if that tickles your fancy, and not just thank you cards for said birthday.

 

I know this is quite a bit of designs for 1 days worth of challenge, but I figured it all went together as a design, no? But this won't be the last of the animal theme, as animals are very trendy amoungst the kids and nursery decor.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and thank goodness I'm cooking for 4 people in total. So I guess when the turkey is in the oven, I will get to work on my design for day 4. Look forward to seeing what I come up with? Me too!

Design a day Challenge - Day 2 of 30 - Modern Number

 

 

It is day 2 and I went with a number theme. A very modern and minimal design for a birthday invitation.

Making the number the focus, I created this invite that is fully customizable for colors and choice of wording. I shown 2 examples of color combos that can work. It can be customized for boys as well, just as simple as choosing the colors you want to reflect the color theme of the party.

 

 



 

 

 As you can see there are colors options that also have coordinating envelopes as well. If you don't see the color you want, you can request a special custom order and I can still create the color you desire!

Design a day Challenge - Day 1 of 30 - Ballerina's

For my first design for my 30 day challenge, I was inspired by ballerina's. I feel like every girl dreams about being a ballerina. They are beautiful, fit, and very feminine.

My first design is for a nursery. My style is very modern and I thought this would look great framed in any nursery as a birth announcement. When purchasing the buyer can give me any information they want to put on the birth announcement, as well as the color of the background so it can match the nursery. I also created just a name print for any baby or toddler that wishes just to have just their name framed in their bedroom (can be customized for color as well).

So I decided, why stop there? I design a beautiful and modern invitation for any birthday party. The words and colors can be 100% personalized. I send proofs within 24 hours so the mom can be relaxed knowing her invite is going to print out exactly the way she wants it.

Holidays are around the corner!

Well the holidays are actually here! My daughter took some holiday pictures at her daycare. When I brang her home, I wanted to take a few shots of my own and I wanted to share.
