Five Fact Friday

I thought this would be a great idea for my readers and future readers to get to know me a little better each week. So here it goes:

1) This is one of my most favorite pictures of myself.
2) I ate everything with a fork up until a couple of years ago.
3) I can't stand owls. They freak me out and they are truely the creature of the underworld.
4) If you can't find me, I'm probably in a bookstore.
5) I would pay someone just to clean and fold my laundry every week.

I believe in pink

I have pink on my mind recently. I'm not sure why but I like it! Its so inspiring that this one color can fit into everyday life such as: home goods, clothing, and of course beauty.

So here is a little something to add a dash of pink to your life today. Hope it makes you smile.

Excited about my new camera

I couldn't wait any longer. I had to buy the Canon Rebel after my friend let me borrow hers. I bought it a few days ago and been practicing using it. Among the many pictures I took to test out the features, here is a photo oh my daughter that I just had to share.

I had the camera on a setting where I can take photos of moving objects, and depending on the f-stop and some other things, the picture would be still or appear slightly in motion. I told her to run around and got a chance to capture this beautiful photo of her.
