Hey everyone!
Im one of my previous posts about the cool things I found at Target, I mentioned that I love to browse the dollar section for anything my daughter will like, without breaking the bank! Well, after my dentist appointment I stopped by Target next door and yes, another win! I found this very cool little flower pot that comes with a paint brush and 4 paint colors.
It was recommended for children 8 and up, but I thought with my supervision, it would be okay. And so, 20 minutes later here is the final product:
Ok first of all, that is chocolate over her mouth and not paint. Secondly, although she doesn't display the most artistic talent, this pot is the most beautiful thing I seen all week. I loved it so much that I told her that its time to pick a flower from the garden to plant in the pot. She loves it so much, that we gave it its own very home on a window sill that is kid height friendly.

Baby shower with books
I have an unhealthy obession with books. My husband and I talk about if we ever win the lottery that we will buy a new home and in that new home, one room will be lined with bookshelves filled with books. It makes me weak in the knees, like this picture here:
Don't you love it? I collected a few beautiful photos from Flickr and wanted to share it with you.
So in honor of my most favorite possession in the world, I created a baby shower invitation that encourages guests to bring along a baby/children's book, along with a gift and before the gift opening, the mother can share with everyone the books she received for her little joy. While this idea is not original, I designed this to showcase my love of books and how important it is to teach our youth that reading is a wonderful thing.
Will be posting it soon to my Etsy store, along with matching thank you cards. Stay on the lookout!

Flickr Photo #2 Pencil vs. Camera
I came across this Flickr photo and I had to share it with you. This artist Ben Heine takes a real life scenario and then draws on paper 3/4ths of it. It gives him a chance to recreate the scene his way. I just love some of his creations! Take a look at the interview and other photos of his work here.
Enjoy!
